Softgen

// For fintech

Fintech app and MVP development

In fintech, trust is the product. Users forgive a missing feature; they never forgive a wrong balance or a leaked document. We build fintech products that feel premium, integrate with regulated partners the right way, and reach real users while your runway still matters.

/01Sound familiar?

What we solve for you.

You need to launch before the runway runs out.

A senior team ships an investor-ready fintech MVP in weeks — real onboarding, real payments, real users — not a clickable demo.

Payments, KYC and banking integrations are a minefield.

We integrate regulated providers for payments, identity checks and open banking properly — idempotent, audited and tested against their sandboxes before a penny moves.

Investors and partners will scrutinise your security.

Encryption, role-based access, audit trails and secure infrastructure are standard — so due diligence is a formality, not a fire drill.

/02What you get

  • Identity, KYC and open banking via specialist providers

/04FAQ

Quick answers.

Do we need FCA authorisation to launch a fintech app?

It depends on what you do with money. Many fintechs launch by partnering with already-authorised providers — payment institutions, e-money issuers or banking-as-a-service platforms — usually as their registered agent or appointed representative, rather than holding their own authorisation at first. Your app copy may also fall under the financial promotions rules. That's a legal decision for you and your advisers; we build the product around whichever route you take.

How much does a fintech MVP cost?

Fintech MVPs with Softgen start from £24,000, within our £24,000–£90,000 MVP range; payments, KYC and open-banking integrations are the main cost drivers. A Discovery Sprint (from £4,950) fixes the scope, price and date before the build.

Can you integrate open banking and card issuing?

Yes — through specialist regulated providers. We handle the integration, webhooks, reconciliation and failure handling so money movement is reliable and auditable.
